Could someone give me an idea of what I can expect to spend to rent 2 chairs and an umbrella on Palm Beach? Is there a particular vendor who is less expensive than the others? My husband and I will be there for 1 day on a cruise, and we just want a nice beach day, but shade is a must for me. I was thinking of going to Eagle Beach instead but it doesn't sound like there are many vendors there who rent chairs/umbrellas. This post had me thinking long and hard whether I have ever encountered beach vendors renting chairs and umbrellas on Palm Beach and I have to say the answer is no (then again, I wasn't looking very hard). If shade is a must, you can always rent chair and umbrellas at MoomBa Beach: I hope that helps. Not sure of the cost but they can be rented at Moomba Beach Bar (next to the Holiday Inn) or there is a vendor located near DePalm Pier (between the Radisson and Riu.) There are several places along Palm Beach to rent umbrellas and chairs. One that we have experienced has been between the Radisson and Riu, which I have heard is a popular one for cruise groups.

Unfortunately, they set up directly in front of the Radisson first row palapas, which is a "bummer" for first row people - like me. I think they rent for $20-$25 a day for an umbrella; not sure about the chairs. Another location is by the Holiday Inn, as well as Moomba Beach. The last I knew, the two vendors between the Radisson and Riu on Palm beach charged $8 per chaise lounge and $10 or $20 for an umbrella, depending upon the size. That was a few years ago, so as CaribeTraveler posted, the prices very well may have gone up. I think the price varies between high season and low season, too. -:- Message from TripAdvisor staff -:-This topic has been closed to new posts due to inactivity. Great sand, and large. Easy entrance into the water. Love to go and good for families. I understand that snorkeling is available nearby but I didn't go. This beach was right in front of our hotel. The beach is not crowded and we were able to find palapas daily with no issues which are free to use. The beach is clean and the water is calm. The sand is great for walking in. Here you will find many shops and restaurants and just about everything you want. The beach is very tough in some places and in others perfect.

Beach hotels are very expensive some exceed $ 400 per night. The most beautiful beach on Aruba. Beautiful white sandy beach, very level, no slope to traverse down to the water. Although all beaches are public the are no "hawkers" selling their wares or being a nuisance. All major hotels are on Palm Beach and each have their beach chairs, umbrellas. Vendors are available for water sport enthusiasts of all types... Having visited Aruba for many years I still thing Palm Beach is the best...gorgeous sandy bottom, not too crowded and not a lot of kids running around. I LOVE THIS BEACH!! Nice beach in front of high rises so it is very lengthy. Also very deep beach front and many places serve lunch and or offer all kinds of watersports or signups for other activities.Plenty of room to relax or run around, water sparkles and swimming and access is great. I have seen a lot of beaches on the Caribbean but I will say that Aruba has great ones ! Palm beach is one of my favorites !

The sand is so white and the water is crystal clear! You can see everything while swimming! I had a great time in this place with my friends and watching the sunset Palm beach is a fun place to be if you are young and looking for adventures/fun. The beach has selected swimming areas and areas where swimming is prohibited. This beach does not strike me as a child friendly beach. It felt more like a party beach. I saw a lot of drunk young people. The view of the beach is... Great place for shopping and amusements including restaurants, bars and theater including walking and spending time on the beach With only one day from cruise ship to find a great beach, we chose palm beach to insure we could find a snorkeling cruise. Palm beach has great sand and absolutely beautiful multi colored water. Not quite the white powdery sand of say Sarasota Florida but very nice. We originally took a taxi to Arashi beach but it was so...Recent Palm Beach reviews Nice place to enjoy Aruba all-year summer
