We have the area’s largest fleet of factory-manufactured, fully-equipped electric low speed vehicles (LSVs) to enhance your vacation transportation experience. You can now legally and safely travel the area’s public roads and neighborhoods that have posted speeds of 35 MPH or less.It’s so easy…and all of our cars are insured, as required by the State of Florida.
The Electric Cart Company accepts reservations up to one year in advance. We reserve the right to correct or adjust rates to the published rates for specific vehicles at the time of the reservation in the event that they have been misquoted due to human and/or computer error. A reservation deposit of $100.00 will be charged to your credit card to confirm your reservation. This is a “Reservation Deposit” and not a “Damage Deposit” and will be applied to the total rent due upon rental. Rates include golf cart rental, pickup and delivery, state required daily insurance and sales tax. Your car insurance will not work for a golf cart rental. You may cancel your reservation up to thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled delivery of the rental vehicle and will only be charged a $40.00 administration fee. You will receive a refund of $60.00 from your $100.00 reservation deposit. No refund of the reservation deposit will be made for any cancellations, regardless of the reason, that are dated less than thirty (30) days from the date of the reservation.
All cancellations are accepted in writing, email, fax or correspondence, identifying the authorized renter and the reservation number. Our online reservation system was developed to simplify your rental experience with the Electric Cart Company. The authorized renter must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license. Any “additional drivers” also must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license. All vehicles are rented by the day in 24-hour increments, or any portion thereof. There is a minimum rental period of two (2) days. When making any reservation, the method of payment is by credit card: MasterCard; Discover or American Express. The Rental Deposit is due immediately prior to vehicle delivery and is processed automatically. This payment is by the credit card you have identified during the reservation process. This credit card will also guarantee the condition of vehicle until it is checked in at the conclusion of the rental period.
The Reservation Deposit from the credit card will be credited to your rental account upon processing the Rental Deposit. Accepted forms of payment are in U.S. funds only. The rented vehicle will be delivery to the authorized renter at the time of the reservation between the hours of 3:00PM and 6:00PM. Please note there is a possibility that your rental may be delivered later than 6:00PM during peak seasons or due to inclement weather. For guests arriving after 6:00 PM on the day of delivery, please contact ECC at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date to set up special arrangements for delivery and checkout of the rental vehicle. The rental vehicle will be picked up between the hours of 10:00AM and 11:00AM on the last day of the rental. Pickup will be at the same address the vehicle was delivered to unless specifically noted by the authorized renter at time of delivery. Please note the insurance provided during the rental period will expire at 10:00AM on the pickup date, so the vehicle needs to be parked for pickup by ECC no later than 10:00AM.
The cart should be fully charged and clean at time of pickup. *** The bike paths on 30a are only for non motorized vehicles. Walton County Sheriffs Office enforce a hefty fine for violators.
