Compare 2013 new style sliding door trolley manufacturer with 11 years experience Guangdong Yi Fa Doors And Windows Technology Co., Ltd. US $68-109 1 Square Meter Transaction Level on December 31, 2014 at 2:43 PM, updated AMHERST — Brian Knox has been dreaming of opening his own restaurant for years, and in just a few weeks the former Lone Wolf sous-chef and college English major will crack his first eggs and make his first waffles at Bread & Butter in the new Mill District. Knox, 38, will be serving breakfast and lunch that will be fitting for the restaurant's name – lots of comfort food, but also elegant offerings such as duck confit hash and house cured lox. He will be making his own sausages, too. The restaurant is one of two new businesses coming to developer Cinda Jones's new Trolley Barn in North Amherst. The Lift, an Easthampton-based hair salon, is opening a second location in a space next door. The barn is built to look like the barn that once occupied the site and is part of the growing Mill District.

Knox, with the help of his father-in-law, retired Assistant Fire Chief Michael Zlogar, is converting the 2,000 square feet of space into exactly what he wants, and is bringing in pieces of Holyoke and Greenfield into it. A bench in the restaurant was salvaged from a former paper mill in Holyoke and cured using a Japanese wood burning technique. Old leather doors from the courthouse in Greenfield will open from the dining room into the kitchen. Knox is working with Holyoke artist Kamil Peters, who is making the metal work for the bench, and Holyoke concrete artist Michael Karmody. "It incorporates the mill industrial look and feel," Jones said of the space. North Amherst was once home to myriad mills including paper, woodworking and cotton facilities. Knox, who owns the restaurant with his wife Jaime, said he will post signs explaining the origins of his materials. "We are trying to make it distinct – the physical designs as distinct as the food," he said. He will use locally grown and organic products whenever possible.

And he is looking forward to cultivating relationships with farmers. The restaurant will buy organic eggs from the Country Hen, in Hubbardston, and bread from El Jardin bakery in South Deerfield. He will make the pastries and muffins daily on site. Initially he was looking for space downtown, but said parking was an issue as was concern about the number of restaurants that have opened and closed. When he saw the space at the Trolley Barn, he knew it was right. He loves the location "being so close to the Hilltowns ... (If heading into Amherst,) they drive right by us. It's close to UMass." "We couldn't have a better fit," Jones said. "We love supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs. She said there hasn't been a breakfast place in the area since Rooster's closed after selling its building to the Amherst Survival Center in 2010. The hours will be 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. with 5 to 9 p.m. on Fridays, when they will serve breakfast at night. "Kid's love breakfast," he said.

People will be able to get eggs and pancakes and go out for dinner and pay breakfast prices. Knox expects the restaurant will open in about three weeks. We saw the ad, and decided to give it a try. We were very impressed! Excellent freshly baked rolls as well as salad dressings. The salad was fresh and more than adequate for two! Our waitress was excellent.. Took a high profile client to lunch & had a terrific meal! Our waiter John was always available to cater to our needs! His recommendations were top notch! Teresa I believe was her name- made a personal appearance at our table thanking us as first time visitors! I plan on taking my family next time! Just off of Broadway near the SA Airport this staple of locals in the know is more rustic than fancy, as the name implies. Have eaten there twice in the last month and the steaks were fantastic.

Entrees include salad and a side. Plenty of parking and three or four dining rooms, including private dining. Staff was professional, attentive, and... Took the family for dinner, and I recommend the food and service highly. This in not a "high class," elegan dining experience, but the food and service are the equal of any fine dining restaurant. The steaks are absolutely excellent and cooked to perfection. The service was prompt without hovering or appearing to be condescending. The dress was casual to... Had a great meal at the Barn Door. The club cut was tender juicy and cooked perfectly. Also ordered was the rib eye also grilled perfectly. Homemade garlic salad dressing was delicious. Lots of history associated with the restaurant. Overall a great experience. Wrote first review on another establishment a few days ago and decided to start trying to make this a normal occurrence.... :). We have been to the Barn Door many many times over the last few years however, it just seems to get better and better each time we have dinner.

The Barn Door has a very long list of... This place is HUGE. One of the largest places I've eaten at, ever. It has history, lots of history, and you can see from the structure how it's been added to in stages over time. The food was excellent. Everything was delicious, well prepared, presented and served. Our server was attentive and helpful, without being intrusive. I would put this... Best ribs we ever had!!! Welcoming very friendly environment for the whole family. Price was very reasonable. The place is big but at tge same time very cossy😊 Plenty of place to sit. We were seated right away. Food and service were both good, but what one would expect at such a steak house. Our motel did not even know about it and indicated most in the area were Tex-Mex. we found this with a quick search for "restaurants near us". We didn't want to drive far so... We came to The Red Barn for a friend's birthday. It was the first time my husband and I have eaten there and all I can say was all our food was excellent. T
