We send around 5k/month transactional emails and 300k/month marketing emails to our subscribed user list. Right now we have around 100k subscribed users who have opted for receiving promotional emails when signing up for an account.

We are using sendgrid for over an year now with 95% delivery rate. For reducing bounces, we have disallowed use of temporary emails while signing up. Our bounce rate in sendgrid is around 2%.

If AWS SES is approved, we are planning to use https://sendy.io for managing our lists and creating marketing emails. It will be primarily used for Bounce, Complaint and unsubscribe handling which we currently do using SendGrid. We use professional template designers to ensure we send only high quality emails to our users. We send sensible marketing emails for our ecommerce store while keeping user experience in mind to keep our spam score at minimum. At sendgrid, we have a reputation rate of 97% currently.
