E-commerce behemoth Amazon Inc (AMZN) has made Amazon Web Services (AWS), its cloud platform, a major part of its business strategy. AWS generated $14.8 billion in net sales in the second quarter of 2021, a new high for the service and slightly over 13 percent of Amazon's total net sales. AWS, which has risen steadily in the 30 percent area over the previous few quarters, is a clear leader in the cloud computing market, with Microsoft Azure in second place. #aws
