Once a month they allow the public to watch glass blowing. They shop is full of lovely, locally blown items. At Christmas they have colorful hand blown ornaments. I couldn't even get civility or respect here. I dropped off a clear glass vase to be copied and was told I could pick it up in 3 weeks. I returned 5 more times. Each time I returned, I got a new, unacceptable excuse-they had a big project for Brookgreen Garden, their equipment broke and they had no idea when... We are so sorry for your inconvenience. As we told you each time you came in, our torch was out for repair and therefore it was impossible to make your replacement piece. We could not replace our torch immediately with a new one as the cost was prohibitive.
You were free to take your piece at any time... Watching a vase being formed is quite an art and then being able to buy it and enjoy it at home is perfection. I took a private class on a Saturday, it was a gift from my wife. Ed really walked me through the process, and for 2.5 hours he taught me to really blow glass, work with it, add colors.
