Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for an Architect for a full-time remote position (40 hours per week). Our client is higher education’s #1 SaaS provider of multilingual AI chatbots, serving over 6.5 million students at over 400 institutions. Client's platform guides students through all aspects of the student lifecycle including admissions, financial aid, and student advising and enables student service departments campus-wide to provide personalized virtual advising and support, and meet enrollment, retention, and engagement goals as well as access and equity initiatives.
Our team is looking for an Architect to help guide our software design and systems and build a solid foundation for future development. Requirements:
10+ years of relevant software development experience;
5+ years of JavaScript development experience;
4+ years of React development experience;
3+ years of experience with Node.js;
Proficient with Docker, MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB technologies;
Skilled with AWS, Linux and web server administration;
Skilled with Typescript, Redux, Jest;
Strong working knowledge with development tools including Git and JIRA
Responsibilities:
Ensure proper software design and systems on the projects;
Code new features;
Always improving our development experience;
Participate in planning meetings, development activities, deployment, and monitoring;
Shape and guide our JavaScript ecosystem code and architecture;
Maintain high standards of quality, velocity, and craftsmanship;
Recruit and mentor software engineers.
Will be a plus:
Experience with AI and Machine Learning
Experience with ElasticSearch
Experience with Drupal CMS
