Arcadia

The general setup of the place would not change much in terms of borders except we need the Plantagonian and Lusitanian cores in Not!Texas changed with uncolonized stuff. Also Plantagenia should gain their Prairie cores already colonized by 1836.

So the situation in 1836 :

-         Plantagenia is Dixie but Catholic and with real nobles. Main division is between the Louisianians who have been converted to Republican ideals following the Belgian revolution but aren’t really Radicals. Colonization of Not!Oklahoma and Missouri has attracted frontier men and cowboys, more big on FREEDOM. Overall bad place.

-         Belgium : Articles of Confederation means bad politics as they can’t get proper funding and all

-         Vinland : a Scandinavian dominion with the will to break free but waiting for proper time. Big divide between the Marklander fishermen still reliant on European markets and thus closer to colonial authorities and the Vinlander who want their own nation.

-         Rhonst : Rhonst

-         Qingqiu : the Gold Rush has started but the question is whether to open to the World at the risk of having foreigners corrupt the country or stay quite isolated but more culturally preserved. Also Lusitania claims California, which is bad for Qingqiu

Big events :

-         The Leonian war :  PLA and NBG want the entire Leonian colony.

-         The Not!Texas/Oregon crisis : after the Gran Colombian war has ended, Plantagenia and whoever has Lusitania get in a crisis over the colonial stuff.

-         Vinland’s independence : either partitioned between Markland as a dominion and Vinland independent, all of Vinland independent or small Vinland as a dominion (?)

-         The Lake War : Belgium trying to get to the Lakes against the Skraelingrs

-         The matter of Louisiana : can result in the Plantagenian monarchy ousted, reinforced or a big Afro-Liberian rebellion.

-         Belgium and the Articles : Constitution bad. Either they reform into a more Federal Republic, implode or Conspiracy wins with later a Business-Plot like style.

So various paths envisioned :

-         Plantagenia :

o  Arcadian Empire based on the legacy of the foundation of Plantagenia in the War of Succession

o  Arcadian Republic based on Arcadianism in Louisiana

o  Golden Circle Empire/Republic

o  Afro-Frankish Liberia dominating the South and embarking on Caribbean ‘liberation’

o  Balkanized country with the Prairies, Plantagenia and Louisiana

-         Vinland :

o  Wholesome idealist Republic with better relations to Natives

o  Skraelingr confederation, small Vinland and Markland

o  Big OTL Canada

-         Belgium :

o  Divided into various Republics

o  United : either becomes the USA analogue or business-plot later Fascist

-         Qingqiu :

o  Chinese Oligarchy waiting for Asian immigration to kickstart its power

o  Opened to immigration, creating tensions between the old Chinese oligarchy and the new European immigrants and their mixed-race descendants

-         Rhonst: Rhonst
