Built at the end of the 15th Century, Gainsborough Old Hall in Lincolnshire is one of the best-preserved medieval manor homes in England today. Celebrated for its visits from King Richard III and King Henry VIII, the property is framed from wood and it's truly remarkable that major sections have survived to the 21st century.
