But rooms are really not worth the money or the SPG group standard. First room was I think standard room but with outside tub. Nice idea but still overall a disaster for me honestly. Small corner to work in what totally useless because curtain is blocking it. Windows and door that... Level Contributor“” Room is average and nothing special, toilet is small, lift is slow, lack of facilities, service is bad, please make sure do not arrived at the hotel when its raining as there is no proper covered area between the road side to the hotel entrance.
My whole Tumi bag sets was showered by the rain water. For the money you... Level Contributor“” Beautiful boutique design hotel, clean & comfortable. The bathtub was directly behind my bed which made it look really cook. The location is great. Front Desk Staff were helpful and friendly. Hard to get carpark during peak hoursThank connytan Level Contributor“” We stayed here for just one nigh (thank God) The design of the rooms is weird - some kind of a theme in every room. Ours had cactuses on the ceiling ( which looked kind of creepy) Very small room ( pool room) and the open bathroom and toilet (with just the frosted glass) offered no privacy. Level Contributor“” As the title of my review suggests I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Overall we had a nice stay but I feel there are a couple of fundamental things the hotel is lacking which stop me from giving a higher score. First the good: excellent location - close to MRT and shops/restaurants of Chinatown.
Design - the overall look... Level Contributor“” Stayed here as a short stopover and loved the location, just a corner away from Singapore's gay bars and clubs. Cute little hotel in a historic building which even has a little (but beautiful) outdoor pool squeezed into the middle. Unfortunately, due to its location it's hardly ever getting any sun and the setup generally doesn't invite to stay there... Level Contributor“” via mobileGreat hotel in a nice old street near Chinatown. Rooms are varied and interesting - mine had an outdoor bath! Portable wifi hotspot is a great bonus, pool is nice too. No breakfast at time of writing but recommend The Lokal at the top of the road. Level Contributor“” via mobilePleasant staycation! Accessible with nearest mrt.
