Take a photo of the chair's cord lacing, or remember how the chair is laced. Remove the original cord with scissors. Lace the new cord through the holes in the chair frame and the seat, crisscrossing them as you move down.
Secure the cord with a knot at each end, then tighten the cord until the seat arrangement is taut. Undo the first knots, and re-tie them to secure the seat.
