1. What is Anime?

Anime is hand-drawn and computer animation originating from Japan. In Japan and in Japanese, anime describes all animated works, regardless of style or origin. However, outside of Japan and in English, anime is colloquial for Japanese animation and refers specifically to animation produced in Japan.

2. Why Anime is Popular?

→ One of the main reasons why anime has stood the test of time and grown in popularity across the world is due to its unique ability to grow with its viewers. This has meant that anime producers have started to make content more suited to Western tastes, as well as producing anime overseas as it is much cheaper.

3. Why Anime is Different from Cartoon?

→ An Anime is an abbreviation of animation and refers to a semi-realistic form of animation with a great story used in movies and series, etc. While a Cartoon refers to a non-realistic form of visual art that happens to be animated and entails humor and satire.
