Animated Stickers

Josh Van Ostrand

[banner suggestion: an evolution of stickers like the evolving man walking to the right. On the left side is an emoticon such as ;) which becomes an emoji, which becomes a static sticker and finally a sticker that has broken the mold of walking to the right and is instead dramatically flourishing (jazzhands) as though he'd just finished a dance.]

In this update, we've expanded on that feature with animated stickers. Archaeologists say that Telegram has supported stickers since the dawn of time but for the first time ever, you can watch them move.

Smooth animations

Animated stickers run at a smooth 60 frames-per-second. If a picture is worth a thousand words, animated stickers express 60,000 words a second. This isn't an excuse to put off writing your manuscript though.

High quality - small package

Despite being the same size as traditional stickers, animated stickers have extremely small file sizes, each of them only 20-30 KB. This makes animated sticker files even smaller than traditional stickers. It's not the size of the file, it's how you use it.

Homemade stickers

Just like our static stickers, animated stickers are created by uploading animated art to the Stickers bot. Use our bot to create stickers for your specific tastes - just like mama used to make.
