Currently, we're running around 10 ad campaigns because we have to differentiate the budget and understand what ad campaigns perform better than others.

AMLA WEBINAR

We run 3 ad campaigns and get the traffic to the AMLA webinar page – https://masteringdiabetes.mindfuldiabetic.com/amla-training

The video that we run is:

We target different audiences, but as the main goal is to register to the webinar AND purchase a product, then it's important to run ads using RLSA (remarketing lists).

  • www.masteringdiabetes.org visitors
  • Website visitors Page contains "/blogs/" – 14 days
  • Combined list AdWords optimized list
  • Website visitors Page contains "/collections/all" – 30 days
  • Website visitors 180 days MD
  • Website visitors 90 day visitors
  • Website visitors 30 day MD
  • Website visitors 30 day visitors amla

Here are some examples of mixing remarketing lists together with newly created custom audiences.

The reason to run ads is to have data to get more intent audiences.

Hard to explain (only algorithms know that), but Google ads suggests to start target also these In-Market Audiences.

Affinity audience that is similar to people who are in the list "30 day MD":

We may see here the similarity to the list "users who have visited /blog page" for the past 14 days.

The strategy is that every 1-2 months we check the data and know more about the audience that converts the best, then we check similar audiences and add these audiences step by step and test them as well. The idea is to use these new cold audiences based on their similarity. For example, to target "Home Appliances > Mixers" could be a good idea, because that audience is more likely to be interested in Amla products (they care about their diet). But we also have other audiences, e.g. "Home Decor > Curtains & Window Treatments" that are 8 times likely to be interested to buy Amla products or to engage with the website. We dont know yet if it's good audience to target, but it may result in better conversions as well. That's why it's so important to run ads on a monthly basis and check all possible audiences and only after months we could get the best types of audiences. By and large, marketing is about testing/experimenting and then analyzing the data.

7-DAY CHALLENGE:

Audience:

  • same RLSA (remarketing lists) as we use to promote Amla webinar

+ topics: Health > Health Conditions > Blood Sugar & Diabetes

Example:

Some ads were approved, some were not which is kind of weird because all ads are the same. But that's because of the automative system of Google.

We've made a request for Google to explain why it has happened. And that's what we get as the reply from Google:

By and large, many custom audiences cannot be created because of the restricted keyword "diabetes" but we can use other ways to get the right audience on the market and hook their attention with the ads that we use.

As for now, I've created many new custom audiences:

Thank you.
