Cons Unless the store you manage is High Volume, you do not receive Commission. I have doubled the business at multiple locations during my time working for American Mattress & because Sales did not surpass $42,000 within one month, I didn't get paid anything over Base Salary. You will not be compensated for extra hours worked or weekly meetings. If you sell $40,000 in one month, you will not see anything more than base salary. Management is old school and stuck in their ways. Meetings are held to be demeaning and a waste of time. Hours are long and you are alone for 11 hours a day. If you want to make money, be appreciated and recognized and move up in a company, this is not the place. Advice to Management Appreciate and Compensate your Employees.
