Alone

I walked alone

There was no light

A sound I cannot remember hit me hard

It felt as I was there before

Was I alone? I would never know for sure

My hands were shaking

Suddenly I could not breath

I could barely think

Who am I? Why am I here?

Can anybody save me?

Do I need to be saved?

I was floating around thoughts and fears

Now I could hear them

They were laughing and living

I tried to scream

I tried to run

They glanced at me

They passed me by

I am alone.
