On flat ground I am around 1-2cm from ground so can find you brush the ground if there are any bumps in it. The chair was incredibly easy to put together and took 1 minute tops to complete. When sitting in the chair I basically sat in it for 2 hours and it was very very comfortable, great back support and the great feature is you can take the front bar off and use the chair to rock back and forth. I cannot recommend this chair enough, my friend whom I camped with was so jealous that he now is ordering one! Rating: Thursday, 15 May 2014 | Comfortable, beautifully engineered and very robust without a massive weight penalty. ('though probably rather more weight than I'd want to carry on an arduous trip). Not sure there's more that one could ask from a camp chair.The low height is perfect for comfort whilst tending a camping stove without backache-inducing crouching.
