I have been using this McNett product for years. It repairs tears, seals seams, repairs shoes, builds up worn down items. I've used it on pointed objects to reduce the risk of puncturing something or yourself, use it as an insulator on wire, repair an air mattress. Make the repair by masking off the area, applying the product, wait 15 minutes, remove the tape an let it dry for 24 hours. I store it upright in the refrigerator to prevent it from sealing itself to the cap and making re-use difficult. If you can buy the tiny tubes, wasting a larger tube is less of a problem. Great care must be taken when sealing a tent rainfly. It can get messy if you try and tackle too large an area. Will not work on silnylon. Use McNett Sil Net for this material.
