Step 1: Tools + MaterialsShow All ItemsTools: vacuumMaterials:Bicycle inner tube repair kit rubber patch / contact cement / metal scoring disktime: 10 minutesWhile it's unlikely we'll know for certain what's in Target's Black Friday ad until early November, making predictions about what it will include isn't all that hard when you take a look at the ads from previous Black Fridays. These were the ad publication dates from Target for the last three years: That pattern has been rock solid for the last few years, and it's unlikely Target will shake it up. Therefore, we're pretty confident that Target will publish their 2016 Black Friday ad on Monday November 7, 2016. Put it on your calendar. It's possible that we'll see it earlier, but we think it's extremely unlikely since Target has gotten much better at plugging the ad leaks over the last few years. Once the ad arrives, you'll find it in our 2016 Black Friday Shopping Guide. We fully expect to see another 6pm Thanksgiving Day opening from Target.

While the best doorbusters are only going to be available that day, you can count on early access to select deals soon after the ad drops. Plus, it's not exactly unheard of to find Black Friday pricing on non-doorbuster items well ahead of the sale. Moral of the story: If you see something you want in the ad, check it's price today. If you're not crazy about the idea of shopping in-store on Thanksgiving, it's good to know that the vast majority of Target's Black Friday deals also will be available online, and our deal experts will be posting the best Target Black Friday deals all throughout the week through Black Friday, Cyber Monday and beyond. First, let's take a look at the covers of Target's last few Black Friday ads, since that's where you'll find the biggest doorbusters. They look a lot alike, don't they? The consistency between Target's Black Friday ad covers is not surprising since they're stuffed full of items that are consistently in high demand for the holidays.

The model may change, but the price point never does. Look for this year's version to come in right around $97. Nikon CoolPix L-series Camera In 2013, the L320 was on Target's Black Friday cover for $99. In 2014, the L330 was on Target's Black Friday cover for $99. In 2015, the L340 was on Target's Black Friday cover for $99.99. It's all but certain that we'll see the next in the series for $99 as well. $10 New Release Movies on Blu-ray Target's Black Friday doorbusters always include a selection of recently released movies. Last year it was Pitch Perfect 2 and Jurassic World that graced the cover. This year, we'd expect to see titles like Ghostbusters and X-Men: Apocalypse on this list. A Killer TV Deal These are tougher to predict since the brand, size, and model all change from one year to the next. What we can tell you is that it will be a second-tier brand like Westinghouse or Element. I would expect it to be something in the 49-55" range and $120-$250 depending on the size.

Target could surprise us, though, posting the first true doorbuster deal on a 4K TV. The timing feels just about right for that to happen. In the end, this one is a "wait and see." A Hot Gaming Bundle We've seen Xbox bundles on the cover the past two years, and I'd honestly be shocked to see the new Sony PlayStation VR bundle get doorbuster status. I'm placing my bets on another Xbox bundle here, and it'll come with a gift card worth at least $50. Check out this page from Target's Black Friday ads from 2013, 2014 and 2015: Razor Scooters have been featured in Target's ads since 2008, when they were listed at $22. They dropped to $17 in 2009 and 2010 (even using the same photo), shot back up to $20 in 2011 before settling in at $19 for three years and dropping just $1 in 2015. If you find that disappointing, you really shouldn't. $18-$19 is legitimately a fantastic deal for a Razor scooter. The lowest current price we found was $26.99 for the pink model at Amazon, and we haven't seen a lower price anywhere so far in 2016.

Target also likes to use this page for air mattresses, luggage, and sometimes ping pong tables. In fact, that luggage set has been priced at $49 for at least three years. Here's another example of just how little Target's Black Friday ad varies from year to year: There are always electric toothbrushes in the upper left corner, always a hair appliance on the upper right, a fragrance and/or cosmetics item below that, always a space heater, and always a $59 sewing machine. It's an odd collection of items, but also very consistent. These are just a few of the deals we expect to see return for Black Friday at Target. This is not meant to be an exhaustive list. We've linked to the last three years of Target Black Friday ads at the end of this article so you can compare for yourself. iPad Air 2, 16GB +WiFi (prediction for iPad Air 3) *If our Black Friday prediction for the iPad Air 3 looks a bit different, it's for good reason. The retail price upon its release will be $448 for the 16GB WiFi model.

A discount is unlikely, and we expect it to be bundled with a gift card for Black Friday. *In 2013, this was a 17-piece set. It actually became a better deal in 2014 with the addition of two extra pieces. Black & Decker Toaster Oven Any Size Holiday Flannel Sheet Set Any Size Threshold Fuzzy Blanket The deals we've called out above are far from a complete list.
