»Synopsis:

Mizuki was the top student at Starlight School, priding herself on her ability and as well being the top idol. Mizuki was the number one idol and the role-model of all idols, thus being admired by just about everyone. She started off as an elementary model but then mysteriously disappeared from the public for a whole year. She came back without warning, taking the idol world by storm as a top idol. During that time, she did intensive training and pushed herself to work her hardest in order to reach the top. Mizuki doesn't show her hard-working side to many people and is thought of as just a prodigy. She is highly idolized by Ichigo and inspired her to work even harder. As of Episode 28, she has her own brand designed after her image, Love Queen.
Mizuki is calm, elegant, and confident, acting professional, and working hard in her Aikatsu. In The Summer-Colored Miracle☆, it was shown that Mizuki can be bashful in certain situations and be viewed as a contrast from her usual personality. As of the second half of season two, Mizuki is shown to be happier and more relaxed than in the previous season, due to meeting Mikuru.

Otome is a student of Starlight Academy. She is a Pop type idol, and her favorite brand is Happy Rainbow. Through the events since her debut, she is known as the one who pushed herself the most putting Ichigo Hoshimiya and Mizuki Kanzaki beside, created her own idol unit Powapowa-Puririn and created two versions of its debut song, and eventually succeeded Mizuki as the Starlight Queen.
Otome has a bubbly personality. She adores cuteness and often adds "Love You" or simply "Love" to almost every sentence. She speaks in first-person and generally uses the honorific "-tan" (e.g.: Ran-tan, Sakura-tan) when referring to her friends. Like Ichigo, she is very carefree and has a immense love for cute things, such as kittens and rainbows and is air headed. Otome is a very hard worker, and she will train for at least a year in advance. In episode 11, it was thought that she has a crush on Suzukawa, but it was his necklace she fell in love with. Even though Otome is somewhat clumsy like Ichigo, she fears that she will make a mistake during the real thing. Otome always performs with all her heart.

Aoi Kiriya is a student at Starlight School and Ichigo's best friend. She was later put into a unit called Soleil with Ichigo Hoshimiya and Ran Shibuki.
Aoi and Ichigo have been best friends since they were young. The two first met at a festival where the latter was dancing to Guppy, an idol. She's highly knowledgeable about idols and the entertainment industry, but before that, she studied many cultural arts such as the violin, horseback riding, the piano, etc. As a result, she is often referred to as the “Idol Professor” (アイドル博士 Aidoru Hakase) or Aoi-sensei. After the two joined Starlight School, it was revealed that Aoi got the best score out of around 1000 people on the test about past idols for the entrance exam, having answered every question correctly. Her favorite brand is Futuring Girl and her stage color is blue.
Aoi is a calm and bright girl. She is very intelligent, possessing an encyclopedic knowledge and excellent analytical skills. She is highly determined towards her goals and approaches them very seriously. Aoi makes sure to plan ahead and research as much as she can for a situation. She is hard-working and has a bit of a perfectionist streak. She is known for being much more mature than Ichigo and tends to keep her on the right track, but has times when she can get very excited. While normally she seems confident and in good spirits, deep down Aoi is afraid of the fact that she knows it's possible she and Ichigo won't both rise to stardom together as planned.
