You know who else... is there at that early? The grave yard security shift + the construction team building out the suite next door to me. Today, I arrived a little later than normal at 6:10am.
Omar in the freight elevator helped me unload all my stuff, he asked my about my dad (who hasn't come by lately) + what he's up to with his new Sprinter. I got upstairs to find a breakfast burrito + coffee carafe waiting for me outside the door to my suite from the construction team. I don't just love my office because it's beautiful + the views are sick AF. I love it because I know everyone's name on the security team (and we have HH's together). We have the kind of neighbors who we can leave a key with + leave our doors open during the day. We are an odd ball tenant for the building. We hold more events that our space should, often times stretching it to (beyond) capacity. We don't have a receptionist like the law firms here, we have my cell phone (and I'm always on call). We don't have a set up crew, we have us (usually in dresses + running around like crazy people). We don't wear suits, and we don't keep normal 9-5 hours. We sometimes stick out like sore thumbs. I feel looked after.
