Good afternoon! My name is Shlyakhova Oksana. I live and work in Kyiv, the capital city of Kyiv. The city is huge, very beautiful and cozy. My favourite thing about living in my city is to stroll through the streets and parks. My husband and I enjoy traveling together and visiting interesting and new destinations. However, I'm always looking forward to visiting my favourite city!

 It is my home, my friends, and school. Through my work, I try to make sure that each of my students and their families can boast: "This is my school! This is my school!"

 I am a teacher for children, and it's a true source of happiness, satisfaction, enjoyment, creativity and self-expression. Yet at the same, it is a huge burden and hard-working job that is amplified by patience and mutual respect. Each day, I walk into my classroom and then open the doors of the school. Once again, the bell rings, and my students are directed towards me. Their calm, gentle, curious eyes assess every glance, gesture, and every move I make. They demand a lot from me!.. !

 I'm more than a teacher. I am the very first teacher! Have you ever watched a first grader walk into a school for the first time? Have you? It's because you've lost a lot. It's an ebb and flow. It's open to the fresh or unexplored, as well as the intriguing captivating. They stare at you with big eyes and hope that you'll become a great teacher and friend for them.  Because I don't have anyone to cook for me, I will order take-out food if I am exhausted or have a lot of work to accomplish, or am feeling sick.
