True, in the original baccarat, it was usually not the player versus the dealer who played, but two players among themselves, so they made the decision whether to take the third card or not. What we see now in a casino called baccarat, often also called mini-baccarat or punto banco, is not necessary to make any decisions here during the game.

So, at the beginning of the game you need to make a choice on whom to bet - the player, the banker (dealer) and / or a draw. When a bet is made, two cards are dealt in the open in the player's and bank's field from the 52-sheet deck. The goal is to score nine points or as close as possible to this amount. Points are awarded as follows: cards from two to ten - at face value, an ace - one point, tens and "pictures" - zero. If the sum is 10 points or more, then 10 is subtracted from the sum. Thus, 7 and the jack will give 7 points, and 6 and 7 will give 6 + 7 = 13-10 = 3 points. If a player or dealer has 8 or 9 points with two cards, then the game ends, the one with the most wins (a draw is also possible). If 8 or 9 points are not scored, the player buys the third card when he has 0-5 points. After that, the dealer can also buy a third card, his strategy is more complicated and depends on the amount of player points.
