With crime flourishing out of control, the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) arranges a meeting of senior police officers to discuss this situation. They are apprised that there are two criminal dons involved, namely Madanlal Malhotra, and Suraj Pratap Singh, who are involved in gang rivalry, which is spreading violent crime throughout the city. At the recommendation of the Chief Minister, a criminal psychologist is sent to assist the ACP, namely Kamdev Singh alias KD., who proposes that instead of tackling the two gangs, he will try to get the children of Malhotra and Singh to fall in love, thus ending their traditional rivalry. His attempts to do so only serve to bring the two families apart even more, it is then Kamdev decides on more drastic action, with deadly and hilarious results.
Suraj and Lala were good friends before falling prey to the vicious tricks of Sundar, so much so that Lala believes his wife is dead and Suraj is to blame for that. They become greatest enemies and create chaos in the city by way of gang wars. Asst. Commissioner of Police has a criminal psychologist KD and Shalini weave a plot to bring Rahul, the lively and spirited son of Suraj, close to Priya, the ever-so graceful and elegant daughter of Lala, hoping to bring the two sides together.
Was randomly watching Hindi movies of the 90s when I came across this. My hopes were not too high, but the movie was surprisingly very good. Unlike the characters popular then the hero and the heroine turn out to be surprisingly smart, level headed and extremely likable. The movie gets even better when Anupam Kher arranges for their elopement and expects a grand romance. <br/><br/>The chemistry between the lead is terrific and Raveena never looked better. I&#39;m surprised the movie did not do well, and more importantly its not played regularly on TV and is little heard of. <br/><br/>Definitely a good watch
I enjoyed this movie along with the cast. It had the right amount of comedy, action and romance. It does contain the &quot;old school&quot; type of aspects to the story but I find it fun to watch now since they rarely make movies like this anymore and I grew up watching them! Shah Rukh and Raveena had good chemistry, the songs were pleasant and the action scenes were plenty. I recommend this movie especially if you are a SRK fan or a old fan of Jitu and Shotgun respectively. Anupam Kher is also very funny in this movie. This movie revolves around the 2 stars Shatrughan Sighna and Jitendra being rivals who were once like brothers. The story unfolds to tell us what went on between them. Shah Rukh and Raveena play the children of each of them who are made to fall in love with one another in order to patch up the differences. At least that is the goal that Anupam shoots for and whether he succeeds or fails is the big question! It is a fun watch. Well acted.
