A young lady named Vivian is desperate for fame and fortune - so desperate that she is willing to become the latest conquest of Lupin III (in terms of being robbed only, of course!). However, Lupin dazzles her so much that when a paper interviews her about him, she stutters and makes mistakes. As a result, the paper prints that the grandmaster of thieves Arsène Lupin III stole a cat that eats pencil shavings, and now an outraged Lupin must now protect his reputation by locating such an animal and stealing it.
