If using Norton Ghost, is there any recommendation on how to combine its facilities with the standard recovery point facilities of windows? While I was in the Disk Utility, I thought that I might as well check my external backup drive. You engineer an OS to blow the hell up after a few years. Also i want to add next is recommened to be done. This is the only solution I could come up with.

We will try to address this in our future releases. I know that Vista is on the way out the door, but for the users that have suffered with it for all these years how about at least provide us a way to clean it up a little.
