I’m not gonna lie, I mainly bought this for the bottle without paying close attention to the notes. However, as soon as I opened the package, I was met with a blast of incredibly juicy, tropical fruit. Sprayed in the air, it smells the same. Juicy, candy sweet, fruity, juvenile, and uplifting. The best way to describe how it smelled when I sprayed it in the air is the way that NERDS ROPES CANDY tastes. I loved it. Unfortunately, it did not smell like this on my skin. The scent completely changed from candied fruit to guava butter with a strange spicy note. it’s absolutely disgusting, and I will definitely never wear this out of the house. but it’ll be a good air freshener and nice decoration for my dresser 😁
Review is for my own reference - At the start it's sweet and it kind of reminds me of that sweet spicy you get with the old school pink bubble gum. Smells a bit like a car freshener. I think it might be the apple or mango note that I don't like? I personally don't think it smells like Sunset Fantasy. It would make a nice spring day scent. Silliage is maybe an arm's length. Longevity is decent, but it sits close to the skin.
It's a decent perfume, I can see other people liking it, it's just not for me. I prefer fruity floral gourmands. The bottle is very cute and I like the acrylic gold glitter top
Edit: as it's dried down it has become less cloying. I wonder if a woody note or spicy note would make it better? It's starting to grow on me :) it's nice, but the staying power is super great. With the drydown it smells the SLIGHTEST bit like sunset Fantasy. I get fresh clothes out of the laundry vibes
This smells pretty much identical to Signorina Misteriosa! I'm so surprised no one else has said so.
I dipped my toe into another Britney fragrance I've never tried before. It's a strange one for me because I think it teaches me I need to wear my perfume differently than how I normally do. And that might be a bit hard for me. You're used to wearing your perfume the way you want to wear it. If you put it on your skin, you're used to that. That's how I wear it btw. Ditto if you're used to spraying perfume in your hair or on your clothes.
This fragrance is basically a stronger version of Sunset Fantasy for me. Both remind me of a fruity drink (think on par with a Nehi). It really lasts very little time on the skin. Last night I was curious (no pun intended) and I sprayed a couple of spritzes on one of my pillows. It just seemed odd to me that the last few Britney fragrances I've bought have been flops when it concerns lasting power. It's like I explained before. I don't want to smell so strongly that somebody down the street can smell me. I just want something that lasts longer than a body spray, ya know? What I sprayed on the pillow can still be smelled. And that smell has a lovely fruity and powdery scent to it.
So yeah, I can see how some of these fragrances are just gonna have to be worn a bit differently. I'm not used to spraying perfume on my clothes or hair but I guess for some of these last Britney's I've bought that's what I'll have to do if I want to smell like I've got any perfume on at all.
Can't really rate much of anything else. This is a tester bottle that didn't come with the original box or come with the cap on it.
I guess I'll end this review by saying that I think it's nice you have perfumes like this one in the Britney line up. I love the sugary sweet fragrances but I imagine there's a lot of people that don't want to smell like they took a bath and used all the sweets in the bakery as bubble bath.
I have worn perfumes from Britney Spears for many years. Some I like better, others I like less.
This scent is definitely one of my beloved Britney perfumes. I fell in love with it from the first sniff.
It is a sweet and powdery scent. It stays on my skin for a long time (even the whole day).
I will definitely come back to it when I run out of it.
This is only good in cooler spring weather. Its fruity bubblegum but it has to be around 60 degrees Fahrenheit to smell that good sweetness. Any other weather and it smells like bad orange smell abd more similar to sunset fantasy . it also doesnt last long either so im trying to find a fragrance that has a dry down like vips beginning that is strong and lasts.
Private Show VIP is definitely a "pink" perfume, predominantly fruity/sour and powdery. There's a lot of raspberry with a hint of orange (even reading it's blood orange, I don't sense its characteristic freshness and astringency here). No mango here if you ask me, which I was a bit hopeful for; a hint of green, unripe mango at best.
This is an extremely velvety scent with whiffs of sweet bubblegum. Sillage is poor but longevity is nice. I prefer the drydown to the opening as it is more gentle and sweet to the nose. I also seem to enjoy this way more at night. I don't know why, it just becomes more comforting and juicy, and not so powdery as during the day.
This is definitely a good fragrance for the price, and it is easy to like. It was a blind buy for me (9,99€ - 50 mL) and I can't say I'm disappointed. Will I rebuy it... probably not. Speaking of the bottle, it is good quality glass and looks really cute. Can't wait to try the original Private Show. (Edit: I absolutely prefer and love Private Show, but projection on this one is way better apparently.)
this smells like a very sweet tropical fruity drink. I absolutely love it as I’m a huge fan of sweet perfumes. Got a lot of compliments on it as well 🤩
It’s nothing crazy unique but for the price it’s an amazing celebrity fragrance.
I regrettably bought the 1 ounce of this perfume before buying a 3.4 ounce which is what I normally do with fragrances I am passionate about after looking at the notes. I wish I bought the 3.4 ounce and the one time that I did buy the 1 ounce I was so disappointed. This is like candy and a bottle it kind of reminds me of Ariana Grande‘s first fragrance Ari. Which is so fruity and candy like that I loved at first sniff. I have to buy a 3.4 ounce of this perfume, there’s no way that I can’t go with a 1 ounce. That’s how good this person is!
Tried this when it first came out and liked the unique floral powdery character it has, it smells like it would be a Very Hollywood type of perfume (as in very floral), but then the fruity notes with the violet add an unexpected twist to it and so this is very unique imo. The opening is so fruity and bright, very red apple, loaded with the blood orange. I absolutely disagree that it is like Sunset Fantasy, the orange blossom and raspberry arent enough to bear any resemblance, at least to my nose, on paper and skin. Sunset Fantasy is heavy sweet with the peach I find in Forever Red BBW and the orange blossom giving the sickly sweet element I find in Playboy VIP. So totally different story.
Private Show VIP opens up fruity like I said, and turns a bit plastic on me after 5 minutes and weird as if there is something off-key here, possibly the violet doesnt get along well with the magnolia and the amber on my skin. The reason I had rejected it even tho I had liked it. Im a lover of violet even though it doesnt always behave on my skin, but I love it in all its weirdness. The notes that translate abit off and deep on my skin are what gives this perfume its unique character. Once I get used to that, I am so in love with it. Time passes by and when I dont stick my nose on my arm that weird off-key element isnt as prominent and the sillage is a beautiful powdery, milky, violet-dominant musky scent with hints of the bright red apple, amber and the orange blossom. When I smell my arm up close I get the sourness of the raspberry, then the cool "plastic" scent I keep talking about: magnolia, violet and the musky amber. So that weird off-key element turns to an advantage rather than a drawback, it makes this perfume unique and beautiful. What remains on me is that magnolia violet muskiness. Cant stop wearing this perfume, I regret not buying it earlier.
Id consider it more in the family of Love Me by Victoria's secret, the weird, unique and beautiful ambery white floral scent and possibly Buckle Number 2 with its dreamy violet/amber and apricot nectar. No resemblance to them, just similar unique family.

Back to Sunset Fantasy which Ive owned for years and loved since day one (while VIP Private Show I rejected back then due to the violet 'plastic' weird element). Sunset Fantasy is closer to perfumes like Prada Candy Gloss, as far as the vibe and the genre it belongs to, radiating that zesty overly sweet fruityness, with peach and orange blossom as common notes. Also same family as Beyond Romance RL, with their mandarin and raspberry syrupy sweetness. With Sunset Fantasy I get mainly the orange blossom I find in Playboy VIP and Playboy VIP makes me nauseous (berries, heliotrope, cashmere wood combo), Sunset Fantasy not at all. So perhaps that orange blossom makes people relate this to Sunset Fantasy but overall VIP Private Show takes a different direction.
VIP Private Show is a little bit fruity with just a tiny hint of violet. Mostly it's sugary sweet (in a good way!).
The bottle is super cute; I just love the glittery cap!
VIP Private Show is pretty, fruity, but a bit nondescript. It reminds me of Rihanna's Rebelle, but is not as good. I haven't tested its longevity yet, but I doubt it performs well.
I really like this, its somewhat warm and fruity, sweet too. I can smell musky raspberry with mango and apple, other notes not so much. Its nice i prefer to wear it in spring, didnt like it in cold weather.
This one is mega sweet even more so so much its hard to pick out the notes. I still like it tho.
I really like this scent a lot! I've been hesitant to write a review for it because it's just so hard to describe.
Ultimately, I feel like this scent does give me grown-up cotton candy. This scent is interesting because it doesn't actually have a synthetic cotton candy note added, it's just that the mixture of other not-so-synthetic fruit and amber notes smell like burnt sugar/cotton candy. Because of that, it's not a childish fake or cloyingly sweet-sticky cotton candy.
When you first spray, you do get a lot of the ripe raspberry and a little bit of the mango. Then the florals quickly come in: definitely heavy orange blossom, and then the violet (sometimes violet can become TOO powdery and synthetic, not the case here). You get the amber throughout in the form of that 'burnt sugar' note, it is sweet, but not overpowering.
As a guy, this scent doesn't dry down too sweet on my skin. That's why it's hard for me to describe as cotton candy, because you immediately think sticky sweet sugar, but it's not quite like that. It does become powdery as it dries down, but not offensively. I would say this scent is more of a nighttime scent, as its sweet and sexy, but I've also sprayed myself with it after the shower during the day and it's just as nice. I wouldn't wear it in the summertime, I would reach for the (oddly) similar BS Sunset Fantasy instead.
Lastly, I think this is one of the best bottles in the BS line, the pink juice and gold-flecked top are so cute! I got a HUGE bottle for like $25 so you really can't beat it. One of the best BS fragrances imo.
I own Private Show and have newly acquired VIP Private Show as well. I really expected the two fragrances to smell different from each other, markedly so from the notes listed. I am wearing Private Show on one arm and VIP on the other. VIP starts out with a kind of burnt sugar note followed closely by a soft fruitiness and then almost immediately into a musky dry down. It is very sweet and sexy. Private Show is sweet and creamy on the top, I smell vague coffee and then to the musky dry down. These two fragrances are extremely similar. If you like one you will like the other. Perhaps wearing VIP in warmer weather will reveal more of the heart notes to my nose. Both are beautiful fragrances. Longevity on me is about 2-3 hours soft projection.

The more that I wear this fragrance the more that the sweet burnt sugar top notes combined with the fruit mellow out to smell like cotton candy to my nose. I really like this! I will be reaching for this more in the Spring time weather.
This is an amazing fruity sweet fragrance. I blind bought it and it was love at first sniff. I'm almost done with my 100 ml bottle, and have a backup because it's sooo good. For me it's an all year round type of scent, but I feel like it would be great for spring and summer, while Private Show would be better for fall and winter. Both are bomb, my favourites out of Britney's fragrances.
When I first smelled this perfume I was kind of shocked because this is very different from all of Britney Spears other perfumes. This is a very sweet but not like a Gourmand sweet more of like a sour sweet I would put this in a category of the sour sweet smell you get from the original fantasy. There's this floral note that I've smelled before but I just can't put my hands on it I'm thinking maybe it was like a Victoria's Secret perfume or maybe a bath & body works perfume but It just doesn't give me that wow effect that I would get with the other fragrances from Britany. To me I don't really think this fragrance is unique because I've definitely smelled something like that before. Jail shoes but I would rate this a 6.5 out of 10 it's not bad but it's not great I would say this is good to wear in the summertime maybe the spring I feel like this is more summer type fragrance to me.
It's funny isn't it, how a perfume smells different for a group of people? Even on myself, VIP private show seems to go through a transformation. I blind-bought both VIP and private show because, well, its Britney Spears and that's usually a safe bet. Still is!
The initial spray is definitely fruity, fresh, mango raspberry bubblegum but it hardly lasts. A few minutes later it turns into this fruity, but earthy, soapy scent. Is this the florals or amber coming through? I can't place it, but it almost reminds me of walking through a 'hippie' store, some fruity incense. Not smoky, but not fresh, also not bad.
It's in the drydown that this perfume really gets me and I can't explain it by the notes on fragrantica. I smell red currant. Vanilla. Cherry? Maybe this is the 'raspberry wood' but I cant seem to find any information about this as a scent. A fruity amaretto sour with a deep vanilla syrup on the side. It edges on medicinal sometimes, but in a good way. It vaguely reminds me of the drydown in the christina aguilera perfumes.
And all throughout, whiffs of the initial fruity bubblegum, when you're lucky. It's not fresh, despite the fruit and soapy scent, it's also not cloyingly sweet. It's almost deep, if only it would last long enough for you to realize it. All in all, VIP private show is a nice perfume for day wear. Totally inoffensive, but also not amazingly unique. Honestly I think this is a very well balanced perfume that you could wear in almost any season. I'll use up my bottle, but I'll decide then if I'm going to rebuy.
Tried a sample. First thing I pick up is sweet fruits & florals. The mango, red apple and blood orange are very present. Followed by the florals. I can’t distinguish each one but they are their. The raspberry is nice in the dry down. Followed by woods & musk. This is a very light scent that would be the con. Smells great but the sillage rivals body mist. Disappointing because its smells divine! Great fruty fragrance for summer.

This is a saccharine fruity scent. It smells pink :) Lots of sweet raspberry, juicy apple, mango, and some amber. I agree with VMonster below-- it's not a fresh fruity but definitely a warm fragrance, though to me I'd call this juicy for sure (probably that red apple note). It's suuuuper sweet with a slight shampoo-y vibe, which I usually dislike but here I actually really like it. It's not a masterpiece by any means imho, but it's a playful, fruity scent that I would imagine most people would think smells good, if not a bit juvenile. Not to be taken too seriously! I really like this one.
Performance is about 1.5-2 hours on skin but up to 8 on clothes, soft projection. This is the kind of fragrance you just catch whiffs of...no scent cloud here.
This one has some very nice notes to it but it is quite harsh and gives me a severe headache. I almost thought I got a cheap copy (since it is hard to find nowadays, fell in love with an old sample I had but had to buy it from a store I usually don't purchase from since it is discontinued most places). But I realize the Fantasy series definitely causes the same issues (both headache and dry throat) and it makes me rather doubt the quality of the brand than the individual bottle. I do enjoy Prerogative Rave though so there may be some gems. I will repurchase Prerogative Rave (even though the bottle looks cheap and ugly) but not this one. I would also say you don't need both, since the most dominant note is raspberry and Prerogative Rave is a way better raspberry in my opinion.
It's interesting that people call this a high school scent when it mimics Elie Saab's style of perfumes. I layer my more expensive stuff with this so that I don't have to waste the high end sprays when this fills in for them.

At first it’s an overwhelming fruity blast. I’m in my high school homeroom and all the girls are dousing themselves in various flavors of Victoria’s Secret body lotions pulled from their knockoff white Louis Vuitton Speedy bags with the rainbow monogramming. It quickly dries down to Love’s Baby Soft slathered in strawberry jam.
Super fruity, this is the childish fruity people talk about, it’s nice - if you’re 14 and under. Bubblegum vibe, wore it a couple times and it just doesn’t suit how I’d like to be portrayed etc. If you are gonna wear this, mix it with something floral and sexy to add a
