#UI / #UX developer for web apps

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Lead the development team for our UI, turning product requirements into documented designs, facilitating requirements reviews, delivering code with your team, facilitating code reviews and providing technical guidance

• Take strategic ownership of the UI for all current and future BidSwitch products and solutions ensuring best-in-class user-experience and engagement

• Ensure your team is always working on the highest priority work and is aware of the priority

• Be ultimately responsible for ensuring the team is consistently delivering working software to the standards the company expects

• Be creative and effective to deliver high quality, enterprise scalable solutions on time and within budget

• Participate in cross-functional project meetings with technology managers, product managers, project managers, and test engineers as required

• Work with other development managers and team leads to continuously improve our coding best practice and agile development processes

• Manage, recruit and mentor a team of front-end developers across both Berlin and Moscow offices

• Audit and evaluate current internal UI frameworks, software and practices in order to assess suitability and alignment against future business vision, needs and requirements

• Participate in collaborative UI practice initiatives and activities across the broader parent company.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, related fields or/and

• Minimum 8+ years in web applications, user interface and development experience across B2B enterprise and commercial applications

• 4+ years experience managing a team of front-end developers and UX designers

• Experience in implementing large scale enterprise architectures and producing high quality design documentation

• Recent experience using continuous integration and automation processes

• Passion for developing intuitive user experiences and web applications together with an appetite for driving the user experience agenda in strong, engineering-driven organizations

• Ability to both strategically manage, as well as get “hands-on” with key aspects of the user interface design and development process

• Comfortable working in highly complex, agile technical environment

• Outstanding organizational, project management and problem-solving abilities, together with strong analytical and data-driven product methodologies

• Ability to travel roughly 30% of the time, both domestically and internationally

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment; flexibility working across both cultures and languages

EXTRA CREDIT IF YOU:

• Are the kind of person who thrives with large scale, distributed enterprise architectures

• Have proven experience in ad-tech with a specialized product background in ad-exchange, real-time bidding (RTB) and ad-serving technologies considered ideal

• Have UX experience in Cloud, SAAS or related environments that present or deal with large data volumes and / or complex marketplaces

• Extensive expertise in visual design best practices and related UI frameworks for software and interface delivery
