Tonkeeper TeamAwesome news everyone, we are releasing a web version of Tonkeeper! It is located at wallet.tonkeeper.com where you can enjoy full access to your digital assets.
Tonkeeper Web is currently in beta, which means it is not feature-complete, and there might be some bugs lurking. We recommend avoiding large transactions until it matures.
We chose to build on TON because we believe in open technology and equal access to everyone. Unfortunately, a large portion of personal computing is still controlled by powerful gatekeepers — app distribution stores that protect their own business interests within their closed ecosystems. In the 21st century this outdated model collides with the new era of open blockchain networks with self-custody of digital assets. We and our colleagues in TON and other blockchains get hit by rejections and censorship in the stores on regular basis. The future for cryptocurrency applications in such environment is unpredictable.
Good news is: we have the web platform that evolves steadily for the past 30 years. On the Internet, nobody knows you are a dog, and there is no one to deprive you of access to the doge. With Tonkeeper on the web, we safeguard your ability to access TON from any platform, under any circumstances.
Our next step is to release a Chrome extension that will greatly improve use of TON dapps on desktop. Then, we will steadily bring up feature parity across all platforms.
