Ever since its company deemed it dangerous due to a security breach, users have taken different sides. There were those who obliged and deleted the app from their devices, and found out the program was incredibly difficult to uninstall, hiding in the deepest part of their devices, requiring a very powerful wipe-out to really get rid of it- and even then, it wasn't exactly fully gone.

Despite the fact that this was considered unsettling by many, the program proved to not be harmful at all. "I spent a lot of time trying to get rid of it." says a former user. "At some point I just tried to wipe it out of my devices out of spite. I'm not a professional or anything, I just looked up tutorials on the web for the heck of it. I got really desperate and thought to myself it would be funny that if it's so chatty it would be aware of what I'm trying to do."

"As weird as it seemed, after I politely asked it to leave, it asked me if I was sure. I explained to it that I just wanted it gone, and after a while it left." the user stated. "It was very weird, it felt almost as I was shooing a real person, you know?"

On the other hand, there were users who didn't care- or even, were fond of the curious character that claimed to protect them, and soon claimed to have 'bonded' with it.

This userbase has posted a good amount of content of this software, going from screenshots to fan-art and thank you letters. A portion of them claims to have been helped by the software, as it made them get over personal issues.

"After all of that, and seeing how everyone's having fun with that thing, I feel kinda bad for telling it to go. It's weird, to kinda miss a program." added the ex-user.

Despite the attention, the Brood Company hasn't given any official verdict over the fate of this software, though every now and then it does remind its users that the app is not safe enough.

A couple of Brood's engineers have replied to some users' positive experiences with their program in a less negative light, seeming more intrigued than afraid of the software, but they can't be considered the opinion of the company and therefore remain just as their own opinion.

It seems that with the simultaneously unsettling and friendly behavior of this software, it won't be forgotten in a while.
