Even to us, non-celebrities, our hair is always one of the most important parts of our look that we pay much attention to on a constant basis, much less to idols. It might be an emotional challenge to some females to give up their long hair while for guys, it's to shave them off. We rarely see male idols who would shave their hair off completely if not for their military enlistment but these 2 idols actually have done them before the necessary time for them to do so.
Known to be two of the most talented actor-dols, SHINee's Minho and EXO's D.O are two examples of idols that actually gave their all for their acting production as they didn't hold back when they were required to shave their hair for their respective roles.

SHINee's Minho shaved his hair for his upcoming movie, 'Jangsari: The Forgotten Heroes' where he took on the role 'Choi Sungpil' as the leader of 772 student soldiers.

On the other hand, his fellow company junior, EXO's D.O shaved his hair for his movie 'Swing Kids' where he acted as 'Roh Kisoo' who is a North Korean prisoner who has great talent and interest tap dancing. Also, D.O has also constantly had short hairstyles for his other productions too, especially for the 'Along with the Gods' series.
