Everything is lining up great for Peter he has finally got the love of his life Mary Jane Watson to marry him. But one night when the strange meteor crash's it clangs on to peter bonding him with an alien symbiote suit. This changes peter once the symbiote is attached by to him he changes his life around.Once he finds out his uncle's real killer is still alive who's Flint Marko/sandman he seeks revenge as his ex best friend harry Osborn becomes the new goblin and peter deals with Eddie Brock. Once peter realizes that he is doing everything wrong he decides only one way you can make it right by getting rid of the alien symbiote suit by riping it off which eventually leads to the birth of venom. peter now faces all the darkest demons as he also tries to win back Mary Jane Watson.
Peter Parker is finally happy: he is doing well at the school, his girlfriend MJ Watson loves him and the whole city loves his crime-fighting alter-ego Spider-Man, finally bestowing upon him the praise he so rightly deserves. Apart from this, he has made some new foes and rivals . His former friend-turned-foe Harry Osborn has become the New Goblin and wants to avenge his father by killing Spider-Man. On one night, an alien symbiote from outer space crash lands in Peter's vicinity and attaches itself to his Spider suit, turning it black in colour and enhancing its powers. Flint Marko, a fugitive, is turned into The Sandman when he gets subjected to a molecular lab experiment. Incidentally, Marko is the person who is revealed to have killed Peter's uncle Ben and now Peter wants revenge. Peter's job as a freelance photographer with The Daily Bugle is taken by Eddie Brock. Peter also learns that apart from enhancing his powers the black symbiote has also brought out the dark side within him which causes him to ruthlessly manages to throw Eddie out of his job. When MJ breaks up with him, he starts dating his fellow student Gwen Stacy who was Edie's ex, to make them both jealous. Soon Peter must decide whether he should let his dark side to dominate his personality or not.
I am a huge Spider-man fan and a fan of the films as well. I thought that all the actors gave 100% to this film, but the story was a little shady. I enjoyed the villains and thought they were all great but the final fight between all four guys could have been a lot better. One thing I did enjoy was the Peter Parker and Mary-Jane love triangle with Harry and how they all struggled in their situations as if to show a much more human side to these super heroes, making it so we can relate to them. There is plenty of action for the fans of action and a good deal of drama and humor and romance for other fan of that. All together I say the movie gets a 6 1/2 stars out of 10.
others have given this movie a not so good review compared to part 2 i beg to differ i found it to be taken to the next level with excellent story and 10 out of 10 visual effects i won't give any detail but it is worth the money to rent or buy and you can take that to the bank i am sorta upset with one who takes a valued opinion of someone else who has given their thoughts on a movie and expect all who reads it will take the advise of the outline given to that movie.the only way you are going to know if you like the movie is to watch it yourself ,then and only then you will know what the movie really means to you.different movies give different feelings to the watchers,i will agree that a very bad movie that has a not so good story line will get a bad review but to give a bad review of a movie like this is very impending
The movie isn't a dud: It has exuberant bits and breathtaking (money money money) effects. But it's supposed to be fun and inspirational, and it's too leaden for liftoff.
Another answer can be like a reference to the 1994's Spiderman: The Animated Series, when he accidentally found the weak of the Symbiote in a fight with Shocker in the "The Alien Costume" saga. The answer is twofold; Eddie worked for the daily bugle and thus likely found out about Marko's escape and motives as the bugle was covering it. He then bonds with the Symbiote which retains its memories of its time bonded with Peter including the fight in the subway. Additionally, the Symbiote is still alive in a couple places—remember that Dr. Connors still has a piece of the Symbiote. It is widely believed that the Symbiote that Connors has will eventually bond with the yet-to-be-introduced character of Cletus Kasady to form Carnage, as was the case in the comics that Carnage was created in Venom's wake. It was announced in July 2008 that there was Venom spinoff in early pre-production that would follow Spider-Man 3 (but seemingly it was cancelled with the discontinuation of the main movie series). It was ultimately cancelled coming down to a combination of Sam Raimi and Sony Pictures not agreeing on an antagonist or villain for the film and Raimi hating the concocted storyline for the fourth film.
