Virgil Grey receives a call from a man who claims to have his supposedly dead father, Harvey Grey. The caller tells Virgil to bring him the android known as Cyphris, who was incarcerated on suspicion of Harvey's murder.
Olan Rogers truly makes stories that are worth while. Anyone who has kept up with his work knows that, but this live action film is more than just a story; the man can capture a mood! Genuine laughs are delivered with a great undertone of sci-fi and action. Now this is a very modest budget. However the cool gadgets, good shots and music, great CGI (with visual sight gags), and overall art direction, create a world that makes you believe these zany articulate characters actually live there. Several of the actors really shine, namely the villlainous Mark Ashworth, and the surprisingly talented Thomas Gore. Thomas Gore I literally believe to be a comedic Genius. His pacing, expressions, and line delievery is actually A-list. If you want to see a quality independent film, that is even more impressively CLEAN, look no further. But, start looking again in the next 3 years, when Mr. Rogers has a feature film hitting theaters.
