Lincoln Loud is an eleven-year-old boy who lives with ten sisters. With the help of his right-hand man Clyde, Lincoln finds new ways to survive in such a large family every day.
In the fictional town of Royal Woods, Michigan, Lincoln Loud is the only boy and middle child in a family of eleven children. He has ten sisters with distinctive personalities: bossy eldest child Lori; ditzy fashionista Leni; musician Luna; comedian Luan; athletic Lynn; gloomy goth Lucy; polar-opposite twins Lola and Lana; child genius Lisa, and baby Lily. Lincoln often encounters problems as a result of his large amount of family members, which his best friend Clyde helps him solve. Clyde spends much of his time at the Loud House and communicates with Lincoln via a walkie-talkie when he is not around. Lincoln normally explains his issues to the audience by breaking the fourth wall and speaking to the viewers. While most of Lincoln's plans to make his life easier backfire, his predicaments tend to bring the family closer together.
The first few times I saw the series it would look like all of Nick's children's series today: terrible, but the more I watched episodes, the more I realized it was not like the junk Nickelodeon is broadcasting today (like the new boring series like Tony Marty) Overall, the series is a bit funny, but what makes me watch it is talking between the characters and the plot. Some of the characters are good some of them less, such as the 16-year- old girl I forgot her name made too stupid, and also think that it does not make sense that there are 11 brothers of the same parents and they are so different from each other, on the other it amusing but illogical. In short - a fine series but still is not it, does not approach the series of the 90's Nick. Rating - 6.5, because it is not possible - 6.
After giving us terrible shows after the other, this was a show they really needed! I have my own thought that any character can be good. Where I am going when I said that is that just because a character is stereotypical doesn't mean that they are a bad character. To me it determines on how said stereotyped is used and this show uses them well. I like how this show satires a whole lot of different people from the dumb blond to the comedic girl to the emo girl and etc. Every character has their own trait that portrays them but this show knows how to go deep into that trait. Almost every character is easily likable and I find the show as a whole really easy to enjoy. A great piece of work from Nickelodeon.
