OK after seeing the lego batman movie earlier this year I expected nothing but the best from this too and I will say that I was disappointed it had its moments of genies and funny parts but not what I expected or wanted I really had high hopes with the trailer and all but I don't believe its the best of the year though fun
I have seen the Lego Batman movie and seen how many viewers agree that the movie has a very unique plot. This spinoff is no different. Sure it lacks that charm of an Lego movie since the start of the "Lego universe", But, it is still a movie that is enjoyable for all ages!<br/><br/>I love how the whole time that Jackie Chan was narrating the whole movie! Talk about an ensemble for a kids movie that I have never seen put into proportion in a movie that is starting a universe of it's own.<br/><br/>Still though, This movie is enjoyable for smaller audiences and can really make your family giggle at the same as think about the chemistry between Lloyd and Garmadon is father and son type of relationship!<br/><br/>This is a great watch, if you don't believe me, than I respect your opinion wholeheartedly. It puts me in a bind between Batman and Ninjago to say which is the best. I have to pull for Ninjago! Watch it with your family!
A perfectly adequate family film for kids who love watching things they've seen many times before (which is to say, most kids), it offers plenty of chuckles for their parents but nothing approaching the glee of that first Lego Movie.
