When i watch a movie, there has to be something in it to make me keep watching. That stands true for the most of us. This one, however, fails miserably on every level. There was no great story-line to keep me interested. The action was just plain boring, nothing special, except a few mediocre shots here and there. Some viewers like the gore or the blood, this one did not have anything creative in that department either (we have already seen heads exploding and people maimed plenty of times). A 2 hour autopsy would be more interesting than this garbage. The screenplay was virtually non existent and the dialogue annoying. I'm not even going to comment on the acting because no one goes to watch a movie called Hardcore Henry for the acting. The sound was also annoying most of the time. I couldn't make past the 35 min mark, and that too tested a lot of my patience. Not that i have low patience, i love watching a lot of art house cinema and also a lot of bloody and gory films as well, this was just crap. 1st star for the effort to make a film from a first person view. 2nd star, well just because i feel generous.
Hardcore blasts along like a supercharged computer-game shoot-em-up, bursting with sick humor and splatterpunk violence.
