The Red Skull (played by Larry Ivie), is about to destroy an American city with only Steve Rogers as Captain America (played by Don Glut) able to stop him. Will he be in time?
A crazed Nazi, The Red Skull (played by Larry Ivie), is about to destroy an American city using a ray rifle. Steve Rogers (played by Don Glut), can see Red Skull. Launching into action as Captain America, he finds Red Skull, with the two now embroiled in a fight. The ray rifle is accidentally set off,which starts a chain reaction in the laboratory. Captain America escapes, but Red Skull dies in the resulting explosion.
Captain America Battles the Red Skull is Donald F. Glut's sequel to his own Captain America vs. the Mutant. These are backyard, homemade short films featuring action scenes of superheroes fighting monsters and villains. Glut himself takes on the Steve Rogers role here, battling against the titular bad guy. The costumes are pretty decent and the backyard brawling is a bit better staged than you'd expect given the lack of budget.
