I had brief flirtation with art/photography books due to a then girlfriend's interest in the subject but unfortunately for me whilst the photos here are technically very good it's just not substantial enough to be interesting. I prefer stories really. ...more

Dian Hanson (born November 2, 1951) began her publishing career as an American pornographic magazine editor, historian, and occasional model, helping found the 1970s hardcore journal Puritan, then moving on to Partner, OUI, Adult Cinema Review, Outlaw Biker and Big Butt, among others. She was most famously the editor of Juggs and Leg Show sexual fetish magazines from 1987–2001.

Dian Hanson was born in Seattle in 1951. For 25 years she produced various men’s magazines, including Puritan, Juggs and Leg Show, before becoming TASCHEN's sexy book editor in 2001. Her many books for TASCHEN include Vanessa del Rio: Fifty Years of Slightly Slutty Behavior, Tom of Finland XXL, and The Big Butt Book. She lives in Los Angeles.

The book is English, German, and French...the pics are dated some, but they include newer models.....The stories behind some of the women are actually worth reading....from girls who had the 'Great Epiphany' after a traumatic experience to ones who just got a little more liberated even though it seemed society was conspiring against them. Anyway, my partner (SHE!) digs this one and the Peen book. She actually said the felt a little better about herself when she saw some of the women presented in a less than sexual way....sure the pics are titillating, but not erotic (to a point). Still, like the other books, I think its a hysterical table book...and if my 13 year old daughter got ahold of it, I wouldn't tweak....it's more informative than you think....plus I think it helps promote a healthy body image.

The clear dust cover has a piece of lingerie printed on it to hide the naughty bits - very clever. The accompanying text is rather informative (yes, I actually read it).
This series of book also come in smaller versions (not worth it), and 3-D versions (also not worth it).
