After doing the job and returning to the base their commanding officer is killed in an explosion and the plates are stolen by another operative. They would be court martialed and sent to different prisons. 6 months later, the leader, Hannibal Smith is visited by a CIA spook who tells him he knows where the man who took the plates is and wants him and his men to recover it. So he helps him escape and he breaks out the others and they go after the plates. But after doing it, they discover that the spook might not be ok. And a military intelligence officer who was involved with one of them is pursuing them.
A group of Iraq War veterans look to clear their name with the U.S. Military, who suspect the four men of committing a crime for which they were framed.
This motion picture, simply doesn't do any good in catching the viewer. I watched it the first time when i was a small kid, and with no sense cultural movie criticism i thought it was a cool bad-ass movie. But now 4 years later with many movies seen, i now see that this piece of film simply sucks! The script could have been wrote by a four year old, and the acting reminded me of American pie. The cinematography made me seasick through out half the movie, and I just can't think of anything good about the movie, cause even when it tried to be funny, you just sat with a straight face thinking 'boy this is bad'! i guess if you don't admire the art that motion picture can be, you wouldn't have any trouble sitting through this. But i wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Because i didn't like it one bit!
I saw the A Team tonight and was very impressed. This movie did everything it set out to do.<br/><br/>All 4 A team member were portrayed on the mark. Hannibal was smart and knew how to plan a head. Face was his usual charming rogue self. B.A. Baracus had a moral character and was tough. And finally, Murdock was crazy smart.<br/><br/>Not only that, but with out spoiling the ending, the director saluted the original A Team and has a Cameo at the end after the credits. And given how well B.A. Baracus was shown on screen, it really make me wonder if MR T was pulling a William Shattner whine a thon when he slammed the movie.<br/><br/>Nevertheless, I digress, it was a non stop action movie with intrigue, suspense, and plot twists. All the while keeping a humorous tone, along with a serious undertone, well hidden in the background.<br/><br/>This movie is better then Iron Man 2 and anyone who doesn't see this is sure to regret it later.
The players embrace this for the lark it is. Their pleasure in going this gonzo spills off the screen.
The A-Team is based on , a TV series that ran from 1983-1987. The storyline was adapted for the film by screenwriters Skip Woods, Michael Brandt, and Derek Haas. <a href="/name/nm0776239/">Dwight Schultz</a> and <a href="/name/nm0070767/">Dirk Benedict</a> both had a cameo appearance in a short scene after the closing credits. <a href="/name/nm0001558/">Mr. T</a> does not make a cameo appearance. <a href="/name/nm0000577/">George Peppard</a> passed away in 1994. The unrated extended cut provides many extensions to balance out the action/story ratio. F-bombs, removed from the theatrical version, have been re-integrated into the movie as well.
