Thank you for the amazing house and escape from winter for a few weeks. Everything was sparkling clean, brand new, and beautiful! I also loved that the backyard in Bears Den backs up to a little playground, walking path, sand volleyball court, and putting green for my little ones to run around (age 2 and 4). There are TVs in every bunk and in every room. All smart TVs. The property manager locally and her husband were incredibly responsive and gave great tips about the local area. We were so sad to leave today, but hope to be back!

Amazing big, fun and clean house for our whole family. We went to the park just one day and had a blast staying at this home. We spent 1 week for our family vacation in early September and this place was great for our family vacation. My kids enjoyed swimming everyday and went to fort myers beach to relax. I will definitely recemmend this villa to my friends.
Our stay at Championsgate 432 was perfect. My whole family had a wonderful time there. The house was beautiful and very clean. We rented a grill for the week which worked out perfect. Between the grill and kitchen there was no need to eat out. We all enjoyed waking up first thing and going for a swim or just relaxing in the jacuzzi before we headed out for the day. Once we got back to the house our times at night were spent hanging out swimming and barbecuing. I would recommend this to everyone. It was a great family vacation!
My family and I absolutely loved Encore Resort 146. We loved it so much that we were wanting to book again for Thanksgiving but it’s booked. The movie room, game area, and pool area was a hit! We will definitely stay here again!

LONDRES — Esta reportagem contém spoilers. Mas talvez este seja um aviso redundante, já que M. Night Shyamalan — o diretor de “O sexto sentido” (1999), “Corpo fechado” (2000), “A vila” (2004), “Fim dos tempos” (2008) e “A visita” (2015) — virou sinônimo de reviravoltas: os avós fugiram do manicômio; as árvores são assassinas vingativas; a trama se passa nos tempos atuais; ele estava morto o tempo inteiro. Shyamalan se autointitulou o rei da reviravolta. O problema é que isso também foi sua ruína.
Tudo começou em 6 de agosto de 1999, uma terça-feira, com o lançamento de “O sexto sentido” nos EUA. Shyamalan tinha apenas 28 anos quando escreveu e dirigiu o filme que consolidou sua carreira, mas que também, de maneira indireta, acabou com ela. Estrelado por Toni Collette, Bruce Willis (até então mais conhecido por “Duro de matar”, 1988) e Haley Joel Osment, de 11 anos, o longa era um terror diferente. Era também um potente drama familiar. Tanto que Toni Collette, que interpreta a mãe do garotinho convencido de que enxerga fantasmas, não sabia que o filme era de terror até depois da estreia.
É isso o que torna “O sexto sentido” tão bem sucedido. Mesmo sem o puxar do tapete — a saber: o psicólogo Malcolm Crowe (Willis), que vinha analisando as visões de Cole, estava morto o tempo todo —, o filme já é uma obra-prima. O espectador se sente tão imerso na tensão crescente, na dinâmica das relações e no suspense sutil que a reviravolta final soa mais como um bônus, e não uma muleta sem a qual tudo desmoronaria.
Shyamalan provavelmente negaria, mas o sucesso de “O sexto sentido” — que recebeu críticas elogiosas e arrecadou mais de US$ 670 milhões a partir de um orçamento de US$ 40 milhões — virou um cálice envenenado para o diretor, que passou as décadas seguintes tentando (e falhando) realizar o mesmo truque. A bem da verdade, “Corpo fechado”, “Sinais” e “A vila”, todos feitos nos cinco anos seguintes, foram bem recebidos, com reviravoltas que até funcionaram — mas, a essa altura, nossa paciência já estava se esgotando.
Sobre o desfecho de “A vila”, com Bryce Dallas-Howard no papel de uma mulher cega que precisa atravessar uma floresta infestada de monstros, o grande crítico Roger Ebert escreveu: “Chamá-lo de anticlímax seria um insulto não só ao conceito de clímax como também ao de prefixo”. Quando veio “A dama na água” (2006), Ebert perdeu a paciência completamente. Os filmes de Shyamalan, disse, eram desonestos, sendo este “porcamente escrito, mal dirigido e com uma história sem motivo e ultrajante”.
“A dama na água” marcou o início da queda para Shyamalan, não só em termos de bilheteria, mas também de reputação. Com “O sexto sentido”, ele se colocou num pedestal, e vários filmes subsequentes — “A dama na água”, “Fim dos tempos”, “O último mestre do ar” (2010), “Depois da Terra” (2013) — simplesmente não eram bons o suficiente para compensar as reviravoltas. “Fim dos tempos” foi particularmente ridicularizado, graças, em grande parte, à cena em que Mark Wahlberg dialoga com uma planta de plástico.
Não é como se o talento de Shyamalan se limitasse a táticas para chocar — no mesmo ano de “O sexto sentido”, ele corroteirizou “O pequeno Stuart Little” (1999), um filme infantil bobinho, mas doce, sobre um rato adotado, além de alegar ter escrito (ele não recebeu créditos) “Ela é demais”, uma comédia afiada ambientada num colégio.
“Não é um movimento de dança”, Shyamalan disse, certa vez, sobre sua fama de fazer reviravoltas. “Se fosse, as pessoas ficariam aguardando o momento do moonwalk".
Só que era exatamente isso o que as pessoas esperavam quando iam ver um filme dele.
E ele provavelmente sabia disso, ou então não teria desistido de adaptar o romance “A vida de Pi”, de Yann Marvel, que acabou sendo dirigido por Ang Lee em 2012.
“Eu amo o livro”, ele afirmou. “Mas hesitei porque tem uma reviravolta no final. Fiquei preocupado que as pessoas tivessem uma expectativa diferente por causa do meu nome.”
No entanto, as coisas parecem ter melhorado ultimamente. Com os recentes “A visita” e “Fragmentado” (2016), Shyamalan começou a voltar à boa forma, criando arte que funciona — com ou sem um desfecho surpreendente.
