At the beginning of the week, students will learn how to 3D model with Autodesk Fusion 360, feel comfortable going through the 3D printing process with an Ultimaker 2+ and 3D slicing application CURA, and think like a Product Designer.
At the end of the week, students develop skills in Design Thinking and invent a product that solves a real-life problem.

Our 3D Modeling + Design camps prepare students with the skills they will need working in a professional 3D modeling, animation, and design environment. Our 3D Printing & Product Design course gives students a look into the process of an industrial designer as they create 3D models using CAD software. Students will turn their ideas into reality and rapidly prototype their designs using an Ultimaker 3D printer. By the end of the week, students will understand the engineering and design process as well as discover how 3D printing is changing our future.

In addition to developing teens’ interests and passions for the latest in new tech, our camps foster personal growth, confidence, and independence; preparing students for life beyond high school and college.
No problem. This course teaches foundational concepts for design and modeling with easy-to-use but feature-rich software, tailored to work with the 3D-printing process.
Our 3D Printing & Product Design course is developed for teens who are interested in the industrial design process and want to bring their ideas and creations to life with a real 3D-printed model. Students use cutting-edge, 3D-printing technology to produce, evaluate and re-iterate models and design creations.
No. DMA provides the 3D printer, 3D printing materials, and computers to use throughout the week.

Make things easy and get lunch on campus so you don’t have to pack your own. Lunch Plans start at $95/week at select locations.
Stay in the dorms and eat on-campus, Sunday through Friday. Overnight Housing starts at $695/week where available.
Our flexible Extended Day option allows families to pick-up students as late as 6:00 PM from Monday to Thursday at all locations.
Add Weekend Stay and enjoy extra activities and day trips around the area. Weekend Stay starts at $380/weekend at select locations.

Designer Camp is the leading collaborative design-based summer camp for young creatives, ages 11 - 17. Our unique boutique programs are in partnership with nationally-recognized designers and brands.
Our mission is to give students a community that helps them cultivate their unique creativity and discover the many career opportunities for their future.
Each day students will explore the many career opportunities for their future with hands-on instruction & real life experience from design industry professionals. 
Students will get out of the classroom and visit showrooms, retail stores, design houses and businesses that are shaping the design industry.
Our design industry professionals and staff are dedicated to mentoring our students on their creative paths, supporting them throughout camp and beyond.
Throughout the week, students will work in teams on a culminating design project and create their own design portfolio that will be presented to parents and the local design community.
This week long intensive camp allows students to dive deeper into the fields of interior design exploring areas such as Event Design, Furniture Design, Home Staging, Hospitality Design, Interior Styling, Prop Styling, Set Design, and Textile Design.
Throughout the week, students will on a culminating design project and create their own design portfolio that will be presented to parents and the local design community.
Designer Camp 101 explores the vast careers in the design industry by implementing the principles and elements of design. Students will explore the LA design world covering Art, Beauty, Branding, Fashion, Interior Design, Merchandising, Photography, Styling, Trend Forecasting and much more.
Throughout the week, students will work on a culminating design project and create their own design portfolio that will be presented to parents and the local design community.
We are excited to be partnering with Leica Akademie USA for this week long intensive camp. Photography Camp allows students to dive deeper into the fields of photography exploring areas such as Photography 101, Camera Basics, Lighting, Photoshoots, Portrait Photography, Product Photography, Fashion Photography, Street Photography, and Social Media.
Throughout the week, students will work on a culminating design project and create their own design portfolio that will be presented to parents and the local design community.
This week long intensive camp allows students to dive deeper into the fashion industry focusing on Design, Draping, Fashion Sketching, Fashion Styling, Merchandising/Branding, Product Development, and Trend Forecasting.
