MEMORISE: I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. Psalms 130:5
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Chronicles 3-5, John 8:1-59
We live in troubled times; there’s poverty in many nations, unemployment is on the increase as well as natural disasters and uncertainty of the future. The only thing keeping it all together is our hope in God. This is why the Bible says Christ in me, the hope of glory. Many young people are depressed, abused, frustrated and want to end their lives but God has sent me to tell you that you will not die in that situation. My child, you need to keep hope alive. Jeremiah 29:11 says:
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
God will take you to that beautiful end; this is just a phase. So, rather than dwell on your current situation, look up to Jesus. Study His word and claim His promises concerning that situation. God will come through for you. Don’t give up. Keep hope alive.
Father, don’t let me lose my hope in You, please come through for me quickly.
Daily Devotional for Teen’s guide was written by Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, one of the largest evangelical church in the world and also the President of Christ the Redeemer’s Ministries.

Not a Fan – Student Edition
If someone asked, ‘Are you a fan of Jesus?’, how would you answer? The truth is Jesus isn’t looking for the “fan” response. He’s looking for people who are actually willing to sacrifice in order to follow him. In this student edition of Not a Fan, Kyle Idleman uses humor, personal stories, and biblical truth as he challenges you to look at what it means to call yourself a Christian and follow the radical call Jesus presents.
The Circle Maker – Student Edition
Prayer can sometimes be a frightening thing—how do you approach the maker of the world, and what exactly can you pray for? Jesus Calling – Teen Edition
After many years of writing in her prayer journal, missionary Sarah Young decided to listen to God with pen in hand, writing down whatever she believed He was saying to her. It was awkward at first, but gradually her journaling changed from monologue to dialogue.
