A 15-year-old robbed the victim of her cash and groceries during a violent exchange in Brooklyn, officials said Friday.

The teenage bandit escaped with the sweets, some cilantro and $3 cash after seventh-grader Keiri Quintero booted him where it hurts to end the violent mid-day robbery.
The creepy crook approached her outside a Brooklyn grocery store as the 12-year-old walked home after making a food run for her mom.
"The kid gets me by the neck and then puts me inside the (alley)," the gutsy girl told the Daily News. "And he tells me, 'Give me everything you got.'
"I gave him everything and he started taking off his jacket, and I'm like 'What're you going to do?' And that's when I kicked his private parts."

Cops said the suspect in the Monday afternoon attack remained at large four days later.
"Why would he want to do that?" a still-rattled Keiri wondered Friday. "Probably he wanted the money to eat, or he was hungry or something. But it didn't look like he was hungry."
The pre-teen ran out to the store about 3:30 p.m. Monday to pick up cilantro for her mom, who was making tacos. She also bought the cupcakes and headed back home with her change.
"I came out of the store and there was (someone) following me," she recounted. "He told me on the street, 'Are you cold?' And I didn't answer, I just kept walking. I felt like I shouldn't tell him nothing."

Keiri was standing on Stillwell Ave. near Neptune Ave. when the backpack-toting suspect jumped her from behind. He quickly dragged the overmatched girl into a nearby alley.
"He grabbed me by the neck and pulled me," said Keiri. "I kicked him in his private parts."
The terrified victim suffered some bruises but was otherwise unharmed. Two neighborhood women — one passing by, and the other looking out from her apartment — rushed to Keiri's aid.
"I've seen shows where kids get hurt and killed and all that," said the victim. "I feel like I don't want to go outside no more. I'm scared that it will happen again."

The passerby's husband tried in vain to nab the fleeing suspect. Keiri described him as pimply, dressed all in black, and carrying a red, white and black bookbag.
Cops say the mugger was black and about 15 years old. He made off with the cupcakes, the cilantro and the cash, police said.
One of the two women then escorted the terrified victim back to her house.
"I feel happy that I didn't have to come to my house by myself," Keiri said.

The girl's Spanish-speaking mom Ana said she was as shaken as her daughter by the brazen assault and robbery.

"I got scared when I saw (Keiri) crying and coming with the lady," Ana said as her son translated. "I asked the lady what happened, and she explained to me that she was getting robbed by a young 15-year-old kid."
Neighbor Maria Delaguila, 32, said she heard the girl's screams — " 'No, no, no,' and then silence," she recalled.
The Coney Island mom said the neighborhood was eager for an arrest.
"My daughter is 12 years old, the same age," Delaguila said. "She's not going outside alone anymore. It's very scary. I can't believe it happened here."
Authorities asked anyone with information regarding the suspect's whereabouts to call NYPD Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
