Fun movie, which (for now?) seems to be available on only steam and google play. impulse purchase based off the cool looking poster/trailer. The characters are okay, but the overall story was nice and had an interesting twist which didn't feel cheap. Some of the performances were a bit overdone, but we definitely thought the story and visuals made up for that.<br/><br/>To the person complaining about the story centering around a "Sexbot" and the patriarchy - did you not watch past the first 4 minutes of the movie? The whole plot is about the morality of the situation and bringing that system down.
Visually appealing, however, the sexism made it really hard to watch. Female pleasure bots? Really? Basically, this is the same as programmed sex slaves. The sex slave/bots dream of emancipation, but the patriarchy is working to shut it down. I can't believe stuff like this still gets made in this day and age. I only watched it because my friend is in it, but I will avoid this director in the future. Yikes.
