Its a map of North Africa and Spain with a glimpse of the coast line of France in the bay of Biscay. The lion also appears to contain the Nile. Not as we know it today, but showing the original rivers. Sat right next to the Pyramids is a dried up river bed. This is the exact river bed being shown in the map. The cave was discovered in 1994 and the art inside had been studied very carefully. Then, in 2012 a further chance discovery was made. Hidden in the art is some form of message or coded story. This book takes you on a journey through the minds and eyes of our ice age relatives and makes us ask ourselves a whole new range of questions about our origins and our past.
