I am the Poster-Woman for Disorganization. I have read many books on this topic, and I appreciate how the author really breaks this down into topics that are relevant to all stages in life. I am embarassed to say that I very much could relate to Lisas Welcome on page 6.Maybe you have to move papers in order to eat at the dining room table. Well, It was my birthday, and it was just after the holidays, and my sister and brother-in law were coming over for dinner.Not only were there papers on my dining room table, but books(I love books), cards, packages, etc. I did use some of the guidelines in this book, and we were able to eat dinner. Lisa discusses clutter, and compares it to aweed in a garden. She explains the physical and psychological reasons we tend to collect more stuff.We have to discover our needs and motives and slowly do something about it. Whether one is in an office, at home, in school, or have children and helping them get organized, Lisa discusses all and more. There are work sheets which are great for reflecting. I feel that this is a fantastic guide, and was an interesting read. I really did have to face up to some facts. I am trying to be more organized, and this book is most helpful.
