When the world is threatened by an ancient evil, the four adolescent turtles must reunite and overcome their faults in order to stand against it.
After the defeat of their old arch nemesis, The Shredder, the Turtles have grown apart as a family. Struggling to keep them together, their sensei, Master Splinter, becomes worried when strange things brewing in New York City. Tech-industrialist tycoon Max Winters revives four ancient stone warriors and enlists the help of the foot clan to help capture ancient monsters.
Anybody happen to notice they messed up with their series of events? There was the scene where Raphael got into a fight in the diner with the 13th monster, it was the last one they needed. The monster escaped. Later, they showed the 12 monsters, plus Leonardo locked up inside of the cages/columns, and that little guy was one of the monsters they showed. They then proceed to get the NEW 13th monster, which is a completely different beast than the little ball of energy the first one was. I took my son to see this yesterday, and other than that, it was a decent movie. Fair animation, plot kept my son interested, so I can't complain too much there, and the language was appropriate. Just that one thing that bothered me with the 13th monster. Please tell me someone else noticed this, or maybe I just got off track with part of the story, and that wasn't really the 13th monster...
Like I said in the title nothing will beat the original, the original is what really made Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles a big hit. Now I know that they are just trying to bring back a lot of the 80's and Early 90's stuff but with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles it doesn't quite fit. First I hated that it was CGI, i wish they would of at least put a little effort into making it a live action movie. Second the violence wasn't as great as the originals, the violence was more on a cartoon level and that is low. Thirs the humor was a good, as in the originals Mikey would make fun of anything and would say anything and you would laugh but in this one he wasn't that funny. But Anyway the movie was actually pretty good, like the story line it was good. It should to me that family is the best thing that anyone has in their life and it shouldn't be broken. There's a sacred bond between brothers that people don't really know and that bond can't easily be broken.
This all-CG reboot is missing the goofy excitement of the old TMNT.
