What is TechSpecs?

It is a platform which provides the simplest method to attach technical specifications (or technical characteristics) of an electronic device on a regular basis to any website in the form of a link. The application is employing Artificial Intelligence to automatically produce technical specifications (tech specs) for hefty online-markets.

The main idea of the project is to establish an ecosystem that will support technical manufacturers, retailers, and consumers with information about technical characteristics of an electronic device.

TechSpecs sees the problem in such factors: wow factor, differentiation, and clarity:

* The first factor means that after the electronic product is produced and released, it is not clear why this device is different from others. The advertisement simply encourages to buy the new gadget but it doesn't explain why a consumer should be interested in a purchase.

* The second one means that in a current situation when the interest in devices is minimal, the tiniest convenience can lead to the distinction of income or loss.

* The third factor is understood as the problem of differentiating between similar devices. In order to achieve the success, they need to state in a clear way why the product is authentic.

TechSpecs application can be used by those who want to buy a device, but have difficulties in differentiating between the devices. Businesses may use it to instantly and clearly identify all the technical characteristics of new devices, and mark their advantages.

How it works?

The platform can be used by multiple groups of individuals. It can support second-hand marketplace, retailers, technology bloggers, and YouTube reviewers.

The project sees the problem of a first group in not being able to automatically update the specifications of devices provided by a second-hand marketplace. When a consumer is searching for a device on a second-hand online-market, he encounters the problem of comparing technical characteristics of different devices and instead of buying the desired devise, purchaser decides to leave the online-market which leads to a loss. TechSpecs empowers these markets with an API and with an AI-based program that automatically generates all the specifications to the devices which leads to increase of purchases.

When retailers are making attempts to sell electronics through second-hand marketplaces, they face the issue of not being able to add detailed and correct specifications of a device into their posts. Obviously, this leads to the constant need for answering endless e-mails from possible buyers concerning technical characteristics of devices, or more likely, it leads to lower chances of selling their products.
