Core responsibilities:

  • Define strategic development opportunities for the region, both long and short term;
  • Structure long-term strategic partnerships inside and outside of eBay;
  • Identify and develop strategic partners and opportunities for strategic relationships.
  • Develop Geo Expansion business unit to accelerate strategic growth plans.
  • Conduct full range of development activities, including financial analysis, business analysis, strategy analysis and formulation, due diligence, structuring, contract terms and conditions, valuation, negotiation and transition/integration of initiatives
  • Represent the region on all operational matters relating to trust, structured data, buyer experience, identity/security/availability, speed, browse, SEO, payments and shipping.

Experience

  • 9+ years of senior experience in business development, strategic partnerships, strategy consulting, and corporate development
  • Proven track record of initiating and launching new projects, product development, complex deals
  • Additional preference: e-commerce, retail, mobile or payments industry experience
  • Experience driving execution in a large matrix organization

  • Global mindset, with ability to connect with partners with different needs and styles, getting the best out of all relationships; ability to create a network of supporters and influencers and work through a matrixed organization
  • Must be results-oriented, have a high degree of flexibility and effectively deal with ambiguity
  • Strong Analytical Skills: comfortable with turning data into Business Insights;
  • Strong presentation skills: great at storytelling;
  • Fluent Business English. Knowledge of other languages is desirable;
