Without knowing anything about this movie, I was surprised by Tom Hollands Spider-Man. The movie was very good. It did it's job and everything I expected by what I had seen of Spidey in Civil War. It made you feel joyful by it's positive vibe. But it had potential to be better in a lot a ways. A bad guy who's not frightening makes the movie feel off. Since it included side stories, that almost compete with being the main, it didn't really matter if the "main" plot was not so good. The movies purpose wasn't being a pure action movie, it had really good comedy instead to fill the holes. But the action in the high pressure scenes were awesome. A worthy 7 out of 10. But that's just my opinion...
The story? It's a superhero film - it's simple. You can turn your brain off for 133 minutes and just enjoy. Don't expect the best film ever, but my lord, this film makes me happy.<br/><br/>To this date, I've never, and i mean never enjoyed a spider-man movie. I've seen them all, and they're all horrendous. THIS, however, THIS is fun. The CGI is amazing, the characters are all lovable and charming, and there's just something so delightful about this spider-man. <br/><br/>TL:DR, if you're looking for a fun film that doesn't take itself too seriously, you've got the best option right here.
Ultimately pleasurable if very disposable, Homecoming offers strong teen dynamics and for once, serves up high school-sized stakes instead of placing the planet in peril.
Yes. The film opens with some home movies Peter made about his trip to Berlin. The main villain is "The Vulture" (<a href="/name/nm0000474/">Michael Keaton</a>). The Vulture is a classic villain from the original Marvel comic books and was originally going to appear in Sam Raimi's "Spider-Man 4" before that sequel was scrapped.
